Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream Hot Chocolate

A delicious treat guaranteed to warm you up!

This hot chocolate is perfect to warm up you after a wintry walk and the addition of our clotted cream makes it all the more delicious!

  • 1 litre whole milk
  • 200ml double cream
  • 113g Rodda's Cornish clotted cream
  • 200g dark chocolate (70% coco solids)
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • To serve
  • Marshmallows, chocolate shavings and extra clotted cream


  1. Pour the milk, double cream and Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream into a large saucepan and heat gradually.
  2. Once the cream and milk are warm, but before it reaches boiling, add the dark chocolate and milk chocolate.
  3. Cover and cook on a low heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Ladle into mugs and top with your choice of marshmallows, grated chocolate or an extra spoonful of Rodda’s clotted cream.
