covid-19 & our business

Protecting our stakeholders

As a responsible business, Rodda’s is taking the issue of Covid-19 very seriously.  We continue to closely monitor and adhere to the official advice being communicated by the UK Government and Public Health England on this important issue.

Since the very first announcement of Covid-19, we immediately took a series of proactive steps at the Rodda’s Creamery to protect our employees and creamery against any potential risks.

The measures we have taken range from remote working for employees who are able to do this, to cancelling all non-critical business meetings and prohibiting non-essential visitors to site, to increasing our already high standards of cleaning and hand hygiene throughout the business.

The business has completed a full and detailed risk assessment against the ‘HM Government – Working safely during COVID-19 in Factories, Plants and Warehouses’ to ensure the safe working of our Employees at all times. We confirm that our site complies with all government guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 and are confident that our site is staying COVID-19 safe in 2020. 

Rodda’s Senior Leadership Team will continue to take proactive steps, aligned to the Government’s advice, to protect all our employees, our customers and the business during these unprecedented and challenging times.
