CHARITY & COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
Our charity committee
Here at Rodda’s, community spirit and charity are very important to us. From afternoon teas, to charity cake sales- all sorts of fantastic fundraisers are taking place across the UK every year. We want to help support as many organisations as we can to bring these events to life.
By supporting these events with a donation of cream, we have helped to raise…
Supporting our community
special events
We love hearing about the charities you are fundraising for, as well as your personal connections to these organisations. If you are considering running a fundraising event, take a look at the ways Rodda’s can help support.

A GUIDE TO GIVING
get involved
Our Charity Committee meets once a month to carefully consider each request.
If you are looking to host an event to raise money, or would like to get in touch about Rodda’s supporting a cause that is close to your heart, take a look at our guide to giving below, showing how we have supported like minded organisations in the past.
what we can offer...
- Cream donations for charity bake sales
- Raffle and auction prizes
- Requests for specific Rodda’s products
- Sponsorship requests for community teams and groups
- Reduced rates on our clotted cream to help save some of the costs of putting on a charity event.

Rodda’s also work in partnership with Wilkin & Son Tiptree to run The Cream Tea Society. Each year both organisations donate up to 50,000 portions of Cornish clotted cream tea and jam, to help charity event organisers on their way.
We are now accepting requests for portions of jam and cream for charity events. Unfortunately, we are unable to take any further portion requests for July 2023 due to an overwhelming amount of requests. We are still taking requests for August and September.
Planning your request
organise well in advance
We recommend that all requests are sent to us in advance of the date they are required. Due to the timescales of processing each email, we are unable to offer support for any applications that are received any less than four weeks before the event date.
requests
Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are not always able to help everyone – much as we would like to. Our committee receives a large number of emails and letters throughout the year, and whilst we endeavour to reply to your submission as soon as possible, during busy periods, we ask that you allow up to ten working days for a response.
delivery & collection
Any donation offered can be collected from our Creamery in Scorrier, near Redruth. If you live further afield, we can offer delivery via a third party courier (for a charge of £7.20) on either a Tuesday or Thursday. We also ask for any information you can give us after the event on how much has been raised. This allows us to measure the impact of our donations and helps us to continue giving to charity and community groups throughout the year.
