HR Administrator (maternity cover)

Rodda’s are the market leaders in clotted cream. We also produce high quality bottled milk and butter. Our products are made from premium Cornish milk all sourced from Cornish farms within a 30km radius of our Creamery in Scorrier, Redruth.Our much-loved products are available nationally and globally. You’ll find our products in major supermarkets, as well as in convenience stores and foodservice outlets. Our products also pop up on international airlines and across a range of export markets. timer Job Type: Flexible, for the right candidate it can be 4 or 5 days per week

timer Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm.
timer Salary: £25k per annum, plus £1k retention bonus plus attractive benefits
timer Location: Scorrier, Redruth, Cornwall

Requirements

A key part of the role is pulling and checking data for the processing of payroll, so accuracy and detail consciousness are critical. Ownership of HR administrative records and production of HR data are also key components of the role, requiring excellent Excel/administration skills, sound numerical ability and a well organised approach.

We are a small friendly HR team who strive to continually improve what we do and the service we provide to internal employees and to applicants. It is a role where you can use initiative, and this will be welcomed. If you possess excellent admin skills it is a role with plenty of variety. It is also potentially a great development role for someone who wants to start a career in HR.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • positive and friendly first point of contact for all HR queries
  • process and check monthly payroll and answer payroll queries
  • train/coach line managers on use of our time and attendance system
  • produce accurate monthly payroll and HR data reports
  • manage all recruitment admin, from posting job advertisements through to final outcome
  • conduct exit interviews on occasions
  • provide general HR administrative support
  • support at employee events
  • undertake HR projects.
