The focus of the role is ownership of systems development projects and providing support to our helpdesk as required. The continued development of processes and systems knowledge is an essential part of this role. Considered a Subject Matter Expert within the business, the role holder must exemplify Rodda’s values and a customer service focus. This role is crucial, to our continues project support for our IT orientated enterprise.

Proven level of IT knowledge MCSE / CCNA / Azure / 365

Implement, maintain and support IT and information systems to meet the needs of the business
Implementation of internal processes for our environment and systems
Support the team in dealing with internal and external IT requests
Train employees on new systems and procedures as and when required
Compile in-house training manuals and internal documentation assurance.
Test new software and provide evaluation feedback to business stakeholders
Provide out of hours support on rota basis
Assume responsibility for IT operations when required, working closely with our Applications Analyst
Highlight and work on efficiency and optimisation ideas
BCDR (Disaster Recovery) ownership of Backup routines, recovery and testing
Ensure accurate recording on ERP system for traceability.
Wellbeing support including counselling and legal advice
Treat days e.g., fish and chip days, ice cream days, pasty days, cream tea days, summer BBQ
