There’s something you should know and it’s very, very important.
If you’re making a cream tea then you must take your scone, add a
layer of jam, and then (only then!) a generous dollop of Rodda’s.
Now a lot of people get this wrong, and put the jam on top of the
cream. Our grandfather would never have stood for such an idea –
he was much too proud of our cream to go hiding it, and so are we.
Not to mention that you can get a lot more on that way…
> What else can I whip up with my Rodda’s?
Just our cup of tea
Afternoon tea is something the English have enjoyed for centuries. Just click below and you can listen to etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith – and our very own Nick Rodda – discuss the history of this noble tradition.
