Who enjoys Rodda's cream?
The Cornish have always enjoyed clotted cream, but now so many visitors
have delighted in the taste of Cornish cream that it is now sent all over
the world. Passengers on many of the world's airlines are treated to a
traditional Cornish Cream Tea, and until her recent death, HRH Queen
Elizabeth, the Queen Mother also regularly enjoyed Rodda's Cornish Clotted
Cream, once described by former English Prime Minister, Lord Gladstone, as
"the food of the gods."
Rodda's is renowned world wide for the production of Cornwall's most
famous delicacy, clotted cream, and whether the outlet is a corner shop, a
country hotel, a supermarket chain or an international airline, Rodda's
customers know they can depend on total freshness and choice every time.
The
expansion plans for the Creamery, known as 'Project Cream Tea’, have
been carried out with part-financing from the European Union and DEFRA
through the Objective One Scheme
